Las Vegas Wedding Tips

las-vegas wedding

Today on the blog, I have a fab guest post all about Las Vegas Weddings! For big spenders and those who like to give their guests a real show, what’s better than a Vegas wedding?

Sin City really has it all, from gorgeous year-round weather by day to hedonistic pleasures at night. Forget the stag do – Vegas has something for both bride and groom, and you could certainly do worse than the Nevada hotspot for the dream honeymoon too.

Ready for take off

Couples who want to make theirs a wedding to remember can start the party from the word go at the airport. While gambling will (obviously) be a complete no-no during the ceremony, your friends and family can get their practice in with online casino games before you’ve even left the runway. Why not keep with the theme and bet which one your bridesmaids will catch the bouquet?

Going to the chapel and we’re…

Not every Vegas wedding has to end up like something out of The Hangover. In fact, there are a multitude of wedding chapels built into Vegas’ wide choice of hotels – the MGM Grand, for example, has a very classy wedding chapel amongst its other offerings.

Speaking of which, for somewhere to cool off, the hotel boasts a 6.5 acre pool, a favourite amongst the Royal Family (“if you don’t mind being photographed naked in public!) as well as a spa and a very tempting all-you -can-eat restaurant.

Good clean fun

Being a big kid with an even bigger budget is what it’s all about in Vegas, so aim high with the city’s array of dizzying tourist attractions. The rollercoaster at the New York New York hotel is sure to be a memorable experience for you and your guests – even more so if you choose to exchange vows while soaring over The Strip.

For those truly romantic lovers, The Stratosphere offers a number of packages for newlyweds and soon-to-be weds, from the ‘Romance Proposal’ to the ‘We Are On Top Of The World’ package, and at 800 feet above ground, it really means it.

Catch a show

Vegas wouldn’t be Vegas without its night-time entertainment, so if you want your wedding to stand out from the rest, you’d be mad not to take your friends to one of these memorable evenings. From Rock of Ages to the Cirque du Soleil, these huge productions will give your big

Take a gamble

And last, but by no means least, there is the reason everybody goes to Vegas – the gambling. From the decadence of the Venetian to the themed fun of Excalibur, there’s a casino for everybody over 21, so take to The Strip once the ceremony’s over.

Be sure to take a good photographer too to capture the wonderful sights such as Caesar’s Palace, and whatever you do, don’t miss the opportunity for your first kiss as a married couple by the Bellagio fountains.
